Why Use This Tool?

Are my flashcards saved anywhere?

Yes — your full set of cards is automatically saved to your browser's local storage every time you add, remove, or edit one. That means you can close the tab and come back later, and your deck will still be there, without needing to create an account or sign in.

Can I remove the example flashcards?

Absolutely. The 5 pre-loaded capital city cards (like France → Paris) are just there to show you how the tool works. Click the "×" button next to any card to delete it, and add your own vocabulary, formulas, historical dates, or anything else you're studying.

How does the flip animation work?

Each card uses a smooth 3D CSS flip: the front shows the term, and clicking it rotates the card to reveal the definition on the back. Moving to the next or previous card automatically resets it to show the term side first, so you can quiz yourself before peeking at the answer.

Is this flashcard maker free for students and teachers?

Completely free, with no signup and no limit on how many cards you create. It's a lightweight alternative to installing a flashcard app — perfect for cramming vocabulary, dates, formulas, or any term/definition pairs before a test.
