Why Use This Tool?
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The entire GIF encoding process happens locally in your browser using a JavaScript encoding library, which itself runs inside a background worker thread on your own device. Your images are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored anywhere else — this makes it a private and safe way to turn personal photos, sequential screenshots, or short clips of drawings into a shareable animation.
How many images can I combine?
You can add as many images as you like, though very large numbers of high-resolution frames will take longer to encode and produce a larger file size, since GIF encoding happens entirely on your device's own processing power. For smooth results, we recommend keeping individual frame counts reasonable (under 30–40) and using consistently sized images.
Why do my images need to be the same size?
GIF animations use one fixed canvas size for every frame; if your source images have different dimensions, each one is placed onto a canvas sized to the first image, which may crop or leave empty space around mismatched images. Does the GIF loop automatically?
Yes — the generated GIF is set to loop continuously by default, which is the standard behavior expected by browsers, messaging apps, and social platforms when displaying animated GIFs.
