How to Use the Signature Generator

Why Use This Tool?
Is my signature uploaded or stored anywhere?
No. Everything happens locally in your browser using the HTML canvas element. Nothing you draw or type is sent to a server, logged, or saved by us — it exists only on your screen until you click "Download PNG," at which point the file is generated locally and saved directly to your device.
Is the downloaded PNG background transparent?
Yes. Both the drawn and typed signature are rendered onto a transparent canvas, so the exported PNG has no white background — you can drop it straight onto a document, PDF, or email signature without a visible box around it.
Is a typed signature legally valid?
Many everyday documents accept a typed or drawn image signature, but legal requirements vary by country, document type and context. For contracts requiring certified e-signatures, check with the relevant authority or use a dedicated e-signature service with an audit trail. This tool is best for informal use — emails, personal documents, or adding a signature graphic to a PDF.
Can I redo my signature if I don't like it?
Absolutely. Use "Clear" in Draw mode to wipe the canvas and try again as many times as you want, or simply retype your name in Type mode to see a new font, color or size instantly. There's no limit on attempts.
