Why Use This Tool?
Is the spin result actually random?
Yes. Before the spin animation even begins, the winning slice is chosen using your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), giving every option an equal, unbiased chance regardless of its size or position on the wheel. The spinning animation then calculates the exact rotation needed to land the pointer on that pre-determined winner, so what you see visually always matches a fair, random outcome.
How many options can I add?
You can add as many options as you like, though wheels with a very large number of thin slices become harder to read visually. For most use cases — picking a restaurant, a game order, or a prize winner — somewhere between 2 and 15 options works best for readability.
Is my list of options saved anywhere?
No. Your options stay in your browser's memory only for the current page session and are never uploaded to a server. Refreshing the page resets the wheel back to the default sample list, so copy your options elsewhere first if you'll want to reuse them.
