Sticky Notes App

Jot down quick thoughts, reminders and to-dos on colorful digital sticky notes. Everything auto-saves in your browser, so your notes are still there the next time you open this page — even after closing the tab.

How to Use the Sticky Notes App

  1. Click "+ Add Note" to create a new sticky note.
  2. Click inside a note and start typing — your text saves automatically as you go.
  3. Use the small color dots on each note to change its color.
  4. Click the "×" in the corner of a note to delete it permanently.

Why Use This Tool?

Where are my notes actually stored?

Your notes are saved using your browser's built-in localStorage, directly on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to a server or seen by us — the notes exist only in this browser, on this device. Clearing your browser data or using a different browser/device will not show the same notes.

Will my notes still be there tomorrow?

Yes, as long as you use the same browser on the same device and don't clear your browsing data or site storage. Notes persist across page refreshes, browser restarts and even computer restarts, because localStorage is designed to survive between sessions.

How many notes can I create?

There's no hard limit built into the tool — create as many notes as you like. Browsers typically allow several megabytes of localStorage per site, which is more than enough for hundreds of typical sticky notes.

Can I use this for sensitive information?

Since notes are stored locally and never transmitted anywhere, they're reasonably private on your own device. However, anyone with access to your browser on this device could see them, so avoid storing passwords or highly sensitive data here — use a dedicated password manager for that.
