Temperature Converter

Type a value into any field — Celsius, Fahrenheit or Kelvin — and the other two update instantly and automatically.

0°C = 32°F = 273.15K

How to Use the Temperature Converter

  1. Click into any one of the three fields — Celsius, Fahrenheit or Kelvin.
  2. Type a value — the other two fields recalculate live as you type.
  3. The result summary line always shows all three values together.

Why Use This Tool?

What formulas does this tool use?

Standard, exact conversion formulas: °F = (°C × 9/5) + 32, °C = (°F − 32) × 5/9, K = °C + 273.15, and °C = K − 273.15. Fahrenheit and Kelvin are always derived from whichever field you're actively editing, so results stay perfectly in sync.

Why is Kelvin never negative?

Kelvin is an absolute temperature scale starting at absolute zero (0K = −273.15°C), the coldest theoretically possible temperature. If you enter a Celsius or Fahrenheit value below absolute zero, the tool will show a negative Kelvin value as a mathematical result, though it has no physical meaning.

Who needs to convert temperatures?

Students and teachers working through science problems, travelers checking weather forecasts abroad, cooks converting oven temperatures between US and metric recipes, and engineers or lab technicians working across unit systems all use quick temperature conversion regularly.
